    Post help with toshiba pcx1100u

    a friend of mine has a this new toshiba cable modem it has both usb and rj 45 connections and it says it can run both and share internet does anyone else havethis modem and know how to set this up

    I think I've seen the unit your talking about, its like a combination modem & hub.
    There will be an administration type utility for the modem, to setup things such as ip address, and ISP settings. Set up the modem to dial your ISP. You should be able to assign a static IP to the modem/sharer, and point the PC's you want to access the net, to use the modems IP address as a gateway.
