Post Addtron DSL Router v. Pacbell

We've installed about 10 offices/homes in our area using an craptastic Addtron ADR-E200P dsl router. About 8 of the customers have the buisness account, so they get a static IP and those routers work fine. However, the rest connect through Pacbells awful PPPoE service. We installed those routers and they were both working great about two months ago. They worked fine, and then one of them suddenly stopped working. The router just doesn't connect anymore. I can bypass the router with the normal PPPoE software and it works great. About three days later, the other customer that had one gets back from vacation and calls us to tell us that there internet had mysteriously stopped working as well. It gave us the exact same problem, leading me to believe that either these both routers failed at the same time, or that Pacbell (SBC) changed something on their end that is now causing an incompatitbility. Firmware has been upgraded. Addtron techs have heads up there butt. Gad damn cheapskate boss is too cheap to replace the routers and keeps sending me out with half *** solutions (like Winproxy) that aren't what the customers want. Looking for a cheap way out of this... Has anyone else had this problem with Addtron and Pacbell DSL?

I've never used the Addtron with DSL but I've used a few on @Home cable and those routers are a joke...nothing but problems...I'd just switch to a different router and save yourself a headache...the Netgear RT314 is a fairly inexpensive router and works great.
