    Post Norton Ghost Peer-2-Peer

Ok I got the drivers for both my nic's I followed the help files from the symantec website and was able to connect the two systems (at least that's what it said) but I can not see the slave systems hard drive (the one I want to copy). All's I see is my hard drive. I have looked all over in options and haven't found anything wrong. Anybody got any input? Thanks.

I've tried it both ways and have not been able to see either of the two computers physically (because the connect I know they are talking to each other). I'm using the NDIS2 drivers for both systems. Thanks.

You are getting ights on the nics, right?
If not are you using a crossover cable or a hub/switch to connect the system?

I'm using my d-link704 router/switch to connect. Could this be causing the trouble?

I would try a crossover cable between the two. The system to system ghosting was orginally done by using serial or parallel cables to connect the systems. So the technology my not allow for a hub/switch to be in the middle.

I read somewhere that this might be a problem. I'll try the crossover. Thanks.

I used the crossover and it worked but looking back I see that it worked with my router/switch but I just didn't make the connection because I have 3 partitions on the system were I wanted to copy the other drive to but two of them are NTFS and one of them is fat32. I didn't put 2 and 2 together and see that ghost can only read fat32 so I assumed that the computers werent connecting. Oh well I got the info that's all that matters. Thanks for all the input.
