    Post Cable modem suggestions...

    Hello:
    I will be subscribing to the RoadRunner internet service and wanted to know you takes on which modem I should buy. Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

    Everyone I know on RoadRunner was given a modem by Roadrunner to use with their service. Have you contacted RoadRunner about whether you get a cable modem or not?

    I signed up for RR down here in FL. I got a Motorola Surfboard thingy (3100 I think - I'm not in front of my comp) free.. but had to pay $155 for the cable installation because "it wasn't the correct grade of cable"
