Question Win2000 and WINS and Exchange5.5

Okay, I am now at a total loss. I set up a laptop for doing admin functions on a server running exchange 5.5 Problem is, when I am on the local area of our lan (intranet at 10.2.118.XXX subnet 255.255.255.0) with one novell 5 server (primary) and two NT servers (one is the exchange and the other a citrix server) it works like a champ and I can set at my desk and perform admin functions on the exchange server. When I go offsite to a remote location that it connected via a router and T1 (we are sharing a line between us and several others) at a different IP I can change the gateway information, and change the local IP on my box, I set wins for the right location but cant see either NT box. I set up several of our desktops running 95 & 98 and set up wins and they can log on and see all the servers, just my WIN2K laptop cant seem to. Any Ideas?
