viewing a webpage

I wish I knew the solution to this problem. Our internet guy is not here, so I look to you guys.
I have a LAN with an NT Server 4.0 acting as our webpage server for the company. The webpage we have published can be viewed by the rest of the world, but none of our systems here in the company can view it. Sure we can ping the server just fine, and if we type in the ip address of the webserver as the url, the website comes up just fine, but if we type in the name of the site (www.a.com), it won't come up. Now I'm figuring there is no easy quick fix for this problem. I'm hoping some of you might be able to point me in the right direction, and tell me where I might be able to find some solutions and explanations on how I can go about allowing our internal systems to view the companies website. Any help and ideas will be greatly appreciated... Thanks

check to see if there's a record in your dns pointing an ip to www.whatever.com if there is then check the host header info in iis.

I think you'll have to use your internal IP address (probably something like 10.1.0.x) to access the company site. Using the external IP inside your own network is like dialing your own telephone number. I know that's how our local office webpage works.

We had this problem at our network today...
