hi, i have a sony crx 100 external burner, this summer around june.. i got my burner back from a friend.. my computer was on at the time and i plugged my usb port in...
then the computer froze and then i had to go thru recovery, well, after that the burner worked only time to time, whenever i would start my comp, it would somtimes show up on "my computer" i just lived with the problem until it got a bit more severe...if the burner didn't work. i had to go thru the recovery and then it would work, and soon later even the recovery wouldnt make it work, its a plug and play burner(USB) so windows takes care of the installation of the driver..but heres my problem, it keeps instaaling the burner as the UNKNOWN DEVICE, when i checked my device manager, it kept on installing the burner under the USB HUB, the sony website said that it shouldnt be, has anyone suffered my problem?? anyone with suggestions?? help will be greatly appreciated.
