    Post LG 8x4x32 CDRW

    Damn it too hell, sometimes it writes and reads, some times it won't - grrr

    Machine is a P2 266 and this writer was working 2 days ago when i agreed to sell the machine, but now its time to go, it doesnt want to work

    Any ideas people, i dont have any CD Cleaning gear anymore as i kinda dropped out of the circle for a while and have only just got back in, any help is greatly appreciated.

    All, Roxio, Nero. windows xp built in crap. everything tryied and tested, just intermitant burning and reading <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

    thats what i was fearing, the machine goes out in less that 10hours and i dont want to spend any money on it, i cant afford to, otherwise it isnt worth selling only thing i can think of is to pull my 16x burner an stick that in damn i will miss it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

    does sound like it,s going a bit gaa gaa , try a cd cleaner from argos/index -cd with a hoover brush on it or some meths on the eye (with cotton woll) , failing that check ide cable and change power lead for another.

    new writers are cheep at the moment over here , 40x12x48 for £80 ,,,they are giving away 32 speeders

    Well, i finally dug out my trusted old 2x Writer and it still works, guess that will have to do for the end User,

    they did say "A Writer" not how fast...

    don,t forget to remind him that audio disks don,t work if u copy them over 4 speed (it,s worked for me!!!!)

    ps the lite-on 40x12x40 rocks !"!!! ,,,not a bad price at <a href="http://www.scan.co.uk" target="_blank">www.scan.co.uk</a> ,,,,,it copies vcd @40 !!!!coooool
