Recently installed a generic (Lite On) CD drive in an IBM Aptiva with Media Console. I had to install the drive into the tower. everything works except that the Windows CD player won't operate on it (you have to use the front panel buttons). Also the machine will go into power saving mode, while a CD is playing. Any similar situations?
