    Question cdrom drive not reading music cds?

    im using an atapi cdrom, 40x. i've never had any problems with it, i bought a new mobo [iwill], with a celeron 633. now the cdrom drive says there is no disc in drive whenever a music cd is put in. also, althought it reads data cds, it says they are all 127mb. i do not have the cd audio out hooked up, but i do not want the cds to play, i just want them to be read. any ideas? all help appreciated, thanks.

    it may be the firmware on the cd rom also try resetting bios following motherboard instructions. also try a different cd rom if you have one available
