Hi
Im thinking of setting up my PC with a dual boot running XP and ME/98. I would be using ME/98 purely for games, because of compatability with XP. Im just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for some sites for detailed information on how to do it. Cheers Mick

Funny, I came to this area for the exact same thing. I could not get Carmagedon 2 to work on an xp box, wanted the exact same info!
So if anyone out there can help, please do. Edit: Found this, try it... am reading further right now: http://www.forums.amazingtechs.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/ikonboard.cgi?s=3c4c4ac82a5cffff;act=ST;f=6;t=515

Load your 9x/me OS on the first drive/partition then load XP on the second drive/partition. XP will automatically set up the NT loader to let you choose between the OS's.

Is there a way to have an XP system then load the 98? I have a new PC and it is all set, just wanted to add the 98 to a second HD.
Any advise?

If you want your 9x installation on a second drive or partition, you'll neeed a boot manager. Bootmagic is good from what i hear.

If I have a PC with 2 HD, Primary has XP, secondary has nothing. If I disconnect the primary, make the secondary a Prime, then install win98 on that HD. Then hook up the primary again (making it primary).
Would that be an exceptable way of adding win 98 to a my mechine? I would, from there, add XOLS so I can boot to either OS. What do you think?
