Post Upgrade

my windows98 needs reinstalled on my pc due to vmm32.vxd problems

cannot reinstall winodws, keep getting error messages about using windows98 upgrade cd

i was going to do the XP upgrade, pc can handle it, will i be able to do an upgrade by just inserting the cd when pc starts up
