    Post winipcfg

I have 2 brand new Toshiba Satillite laptops running XP Pro. They're up and running fine, but I need the MAC address of the nics. They both have to be registered with MSLN (Maine State Library Network) in order for them to get on the internet through a proxy. Having dealt with Win95\98se machines I've always just used winipcfg to find this info....where the heck is it stored in XP?

    Try using this free utility:

why not use the XP /2K version of winipcfg which has been renamed IPCONFIG (from the Command Line Prompt)? If you use it in this syntax IPCONFIG /ALL it will display all the information regarding the NIC & IP configuration.
