Post BSOD with ndis.sys error

yeah yeah yeah, Ferris still hasn't managed to get WinXP stable, but well, its a learning eXPerience i guess.

anyway, i'm now getting the BSOD with the following error just before the desktop loads on every boot, something to do with the ndis.sys driver found in system32/drivers in the WinXP folder.

just wondering if anyone knows what this file relates to.

NDIS = "Network Driver Interface Specification".

Bottom line? Strip your NIC driver and other network settings and reinstall.

Remove the drivers from Device Manager and reinstall them and possibly update them via Internet.

i couldn't get into XP as this error came up when trying safe mode, last known good config (never had one), and normal boot. basically had to reinstall XP again, well, it didn't work properly then, prob won't now that its installed again, but at least i get a nice boot loader that says "Win XP".

cheers for the help lads.
