Exclamation Plus for XP problems!

I realize it hasn't been out very long at all. But microsoft made a statement about some of their new screensavers and games to go haywire on such video cards like ati rage pro, and some 3dfx (although 3dfx and XP are enemies anyway)cards. I have installed new drivers, and every game works fine but the couple they throw in with it. I was wondering if there was a fix or a software update that was available for this annoying problem!. Thanks in advance for helping.

I have also seen this (& Plus! for XP isn't released yet only to beta testers & those unscrupulous people who leak proggies) infromation, and I can definatly tell you that there are no problems here on my Radeon like MS claim there is!!!!! I know Cobra is using a GF2 and he hasn't had any problems either!!! Does this mean that MS are telling prokies or is it that we know how to set our systems up to work properly & MS engineers (WHQL engineers) don't???

Well I know where you are coming from. I got the XP plus from a MS guy I know (not releasing his name...hehe) and I installed it, and had these problems. Yesterday I was on a site and I read that MS cam forward with these problems...I tried my Radeon and it works fine, but as soon as I go back to my all-in-wonder 16mb card, the problems are back. Kinda a pain, but still wondering what we can do to get around it all.

Don;t use the latest released Radeon Drivers Matt, as you are still limited to AGP2X maximum by them. If you want the best performance use the latest Win2K Beta drivers

It's a known issue.

I just talked to some of the guys who avtually wrote directx... The issue is with the ATI drivers that ATI gave to Microsoft. When it clips a triangle, it sets its axis to 0,0,0 which is the upper left corner of the screen. That is why you get all those funky lines.

I knew it was known, but really all I am looking for is a fix more than anything, cause it really is hard to do much like that.

Thanks
