    Cool Windows XP and system restore

    System restore is enabled on my PC, but its not making any restore points. its setup to make restore points everyday. I've had XP for a week now. Have microsoft released a patch to fix this?

    never realised that there was an option to make system restore activate on a daily basis. sys restore on my box will only kick in when i install a new piece of software, driver etc.
