    Hi!

I just installed Windows XP and the when I close the computer, It always freeze at or the "You can now close your computer."

I did what Darren said in a previous post and it seems nothing work.

    Can someone help?

My BIOS is up-to-date and everythings fine under WinXP except for that.

I don't think that the computer will shutdown (power off) with WinXP. I have the same issue, and I just hit the power switch to turn it off. If I am wrong here......please let me know.

    Got this from <a href="http://www.winoscentral.com" target="_blank">http://www.winoscentral.com</a>

    Win XP Won’t Completely Shutdown
    - Goto Control Panel, then goto Power Options.
    - Click on the APM Tab, then check the "Enable Advanced Power Management support."
    - Shut down your PC. It should now successfully complete the Shut Down process.

I got it like I wrote in another post...

Simply had to press F5 during the installation. That makes the installation to pop-up a hidden menu that let me choose the ACPI mode........no more problems!

    Now it runs fine!

    Windows Xp rules!
