ok, im at the end of my rope here, i have been trying to run need for speed porsche unleashed on my xp box for the longest time now, and its not flying for some reason, comes to the splash screen for porsche, and then seems to lock, there is still hd access goin on, and taskmanager reports about a 60 meg usage for that program. any one have ne ideas???

btw the system is:
abit kt7a raid
athlon 1.2
radeon 7500
sb live 5.1
512 mb ram
wd 40 gig (7200)

have you tried the compatibility mode provided in XP??

Get the properties on the EXE file you are running, not the shortcut, and try that.
