    Post Shuttle EPAT external ATAPI problems

    hi there my xp system wont detect or let me install my Epat shuttle external cd drive it says that there is nothing connected and if I try to force it to install the win2k drivers it just tells me that the file dose not contain info on my hardware, can you guys please help, maybe I need XP drivers for it but I cant find any. any help would be apriciated

    Try changing the parallel port settings in the BIOS to different modes ie Bi- Directional, EPP, ECP
