Polaroid PDC 700 USB Problems with Windows ME
Why I every went to Windows ME, I'll never know! Anyway, when attempting to download pictures from my Polaroid PDC 700 digital camera to Windows ME, I get the "Fatal Error" blue screen of death. The Polaroid site pointed me to Microsoft. Microsoft has a patch for Windows 98 & 98SE only. The problem apparently can be traced to either a bad bios driver or running an AMD chip faster that 350 MHz. Well, I'm running an AMD Atlon at 750 MHz.
O.K., after all this rambling, I'd appreciate it if someone would please point me to either a patch for this problem or a step-by-step settings resolution in Windows ME.
Thanks!

Flabooble!
If you have a bad or outdated bios driver you need to go to the manufacturer of you motherboard and get the update and run it.
I take it that when you went over to ME you did an upgrade from 95/98. If that is the case try uninstalling the drivers for the camera and then reinstalling them. Obtaining updated drivers specificly for ME from the Kodak site would be helpful as well.
