    Resolved [RESOLVED] Avatar Program/Script

Is it possible to use the Avatar thingy (icon and counting of posts), on a personal web page? If so, where can I find the program/script?

Basically I just want to use "something" that can: Assign an Avatar to a User, and keep track and displays how many times that user enters a site. I want to be able to use this in a a video chat room, not any kind of bulletin board. Any possibilies or will I have to find someone to write me a program?

Would Microsoft Comic Chat be of use to you? You can download it free off MS's site

    Customer: "Why?"

Might want to look at The Palace, it is a nice graphical based Avatar chat room software (say that 5 times fast ) I know they use to charge for memberships and site license, but membership is now free and people have personal servers all over (they might charge if they host the server, but might be free if you have your own dedicated server) worth checking out, it can also run scripts really easily.

I've had that problem lately also...It's been about a month or two since I last checked it out...I wonder if they finally closed the doors or are having problems with the rolling blackouts (I thought they were based in Seattle...so that would not be the problem...earthquake distroyed the server??)

Sorry to give you a bogus link if that is the case...it is cool chat software though (if it is still around...)

Communities.com DID indeed close The Palace. It didnt make them any money, so why keep it open? The software is still available for download, so that's not a problem. The problem is registering the software, since the registration server was turned off as well.

http://www.palacetools.com/home.php is a good place to start your palace experience.
http://www.palacenewz.com/ is an excellent place for news as well...
