A Quake 3 project I may need help on??

Ok, an idea popped in my head. Quake 3 Excessive is the standard on Milenkos server. Quake 3 Excessive is an awesome mod.

BUT... there are other mods out there. One in particular I have been playing alot is Freeze Tag. When you get fragged, you are froze until someone from your team unthaws you (by standing by you for 5 seconds or so) or all of your team is froze.

THEN.... the thought hit me. Why cant Freeze Tag and Excessive be combined? I am currently studying up on the whole mod thing and all. Why not combine other mods?

Any ideas? Any offers of assistance?

Dude, it sounds like a great idea...personally I don't know how to go about it, but I can do some research.

Sounds interesting!

Maybe Garak could offer some assistance with this also, as he was contemplating Q3 mods some time ago.

I emailed Mr Pants the dude who made Quake 3 Excessive. I got no response and actually expect no response.

I think we need someone who knows programming and has C++ (??).

Combining mods would be so cool! Except for combining excessive and rocket arena... that would be utter chaos!
