    Here are some tools you may want to look into if you want to start securing your home or small business PCs.

    Ad-Aware 5

    Pest Patrol (anti-hacker toolkit) - Evaluation version might not remove anything but only tells you if suspicious software is found.

    LeakTest

    Of course, these tools should be used in addition to a hardware or software firewall.
