I said Hibernate not comatose
Hi people,
i put my computer into hibernate for the first time and it shut down completely then powered off and when i power up it tries to reboot then says " The system could not be restarted from its previous location due to a read failure" the
it says underneath it "delete restoration data and proceed to systyem boot menu" Can anyone help? I saw nothing on micro'n'softs knowledge base.

the fix
I feel so stupid!!!!! Well it turns out that the problem was that my USB wasn't active during the restoration from hibernation. USB keyboard and mouse. The clue was my mouse wasn't lit up so I unplugged my keyboard and replaced with ps2 then I could press enter and it would delete the damn restoration file for me and continue to boot LOL!
