    my windows player will not play well

    I'm using 2 operating system on my p.c. 98 & xp pro the sound card i'm using is sound blaster live,when i log in,in 98 the sound is perfect but when ilog in in xp the sound is not good,before it was okay but for the past 2months,the sound in xp is not good has ay one got any help for me please? as i'm new to using pc?thanks in advance.

    You're probably using the native XP driver for your sound card, so the first thing I would try is downloading and installing the Creative driver. You can get it here:

    The native Windows drivers for third party devices are a convenience, but in most cases they're not optimal when it comes to performance.
