    CD Name wont refresh

On XP pro when I insert a new CD into a AOpen 40*12*48 CDRW it will not refresh the name automatiaclly or manually. If If restart it will pick up the new name of the CD. The CD read fine with no problem, any ideas?

    Thanks,

What autoplay instructions do you have set?

Ive messed around with diffrent actions and nothing happens. The cd will spin, but from there I have to open it and it will open it in a folder. Ive tried data and audio and they will not autoplay or refresh the name of the CD in the folder. TweakUI states that autoplay is enabled.

This is a new cddrive Ive installed, wonder if that has a imapct on it?

There is one tip here while it may not look like it applies, it may have something to do with it.

The autoplay feature is in this key:

See if it matches your registry settings

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
    SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies \Explorer
    Name: NoDriveTypeAutoRun
    Type: REG_DWORD
    Value: 181 hex 0x0b5

These are the settings for disabling the autoplay

RealPlayer and Winamp change the file associations and also upset the autoplay as well even if the files are reassociated.
