Just a tip I thought I would share. I have taken to running SFC (system file checker) on winxp machines after virus cleanings, software crashes, etc. It seems to really clear up some problems. I am not sure why since winxp is supposed to check these files on its own but it does seem to help. I put the winxp disk in and type sfc /scannow from the Run command.
