Toshiba laptop modem
I've had to downgrade a laptop (Toshiba Satellite 2400-S201) from WinXP to Win98se because the user was lost and impatient to learn about XP. I managed to find all the drivers (video, audio etc.) except for the modem. The Toshiba site only lists Win2k\XP drivers. I know it's a long shot, but does anyone know the manufacturer of this modem? or where I might find Win98 drivers for it? I can't seem to find anything.

i was able to rip one of the panels off of the back of a laptop...right underneth was the built in modem, this was an emachine, (conextant..did not support win2k, found a driver that did)....
best bet is to read the name and model of off the modem...and if that does not work buy a pcmcia modem (abouyt $30.00)
sorry could not find more then that suggestion...

I beleive Chris is right, the customer is either going to have to "learn" Windows XP, or get a PC Card Modem....
