    Update on Video card upgrade

    Hi guys,

A while ago, (probably a few months now), I posted that I had a TNT riva card with 32 MB of memory.

I had asked what you guys thought I should upgrade first my sound or my video card.

Thankfully everyone answered the same thing, and I quote
    UPGRADE THE VIDEO CARD FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well that time has come. I am now the proud owner of a Geforce 3 ti 200 with 128 MB DDR. All I can say is sweeeet

Now all I need is high speed internet so I can get Unreal Tournament 2003.

Thats cool, the best drivers for that card right now IMHO are the 30.82's, they give the best performance and remain stable....by the way, who made the GF 3 Ti 200? I have never seen one with 128mb before....

I know MSI has a couple out there with 128Mb DDR...

    G3Ti200 PRO-VTG/Pro-VT128 (Red)

    G3Ti200 PRO-D(T)/Pro-TD128 (Black)

    Click the pics for specs.

The price/quality ratio of MSI's products makes them very interesting for those looking for the best bang for the buck.

The geforce 3 ti200 is still a good card to use even if there are newer and better ones out.

    Go for it!!!

Actually the card is from Aopen. Here's the link: Aopen Geforce 3 ti 200

I really like this card. It has yet to give me any problems, (been playing grand theft auto 3 a lot easier now), and I did update to the 30* version of the drivers. (I had noticed you mentioned that in another thread Radical Dreamer).

To Adept good luck with the job hunt!!!

I also know Leadtek have 128MB GeForce 3 Ti200's, a friend of mine has one...

whereas, I am happy with my GeForce 2, I don't play games often anyway...
