    Question monitor color display problems

    My IBM Aptiva E2N 2153 (okay it's old) does not display all colors...lots of blue, yellow + black...no green, no red, no other colors...what's wrong???

    The monitor could be dying - or possible the monitor cable. It is possible that it is the onboard video card - rage pro.

    Get another monitor to test, if a different monitor works ok you need to test the cable on the old monitor - if it is not detachable test the entire unit on someone else's pc. If your monitor is fine on someone else's pc then you have a video card problem and will need to buy a pci video card and have it fitted...

    But my money is on the monitor.
