NetMeeting will not start
That's the message. "Netmeeting will not start. Restart your computer and try again."
This happens when I try to launch NetMeeting. I removed it and re-installed it from a fresh download straight from MS and the same thing happens.
Win 98 PC
anybody seen or heard of this?

Do you by chance have ZoneAlarm installed on your computer? I've seen that cause problems with NetMeeting.

nope. no zone alarm.
I've reinstalled IE and checked all settings and it looks like it should work, but it don't.
I can even run through the configuration wizard when I first try to launch the prog, but then it bombs out.
Most peculiar this problem is.

Right, but at the end of the article it refered to all of the fire wall products that could also cause this error...
