Twinax to Ethernet
My2002 project was to convert all of our Zebra, DataMax and Lowry label printers from our AS400 host to our network. I completed that by using I-O 5431 boxes.
This year's assignment is to convert our Decision Data and IBM twinax printers to the network, thereby eliminating our Perle controllers by the end of the year.
I've found the I-O LANRPC that I think is what I'm looking for, altho it's high-priced at first glance ($919 so far).
I'm slightly confused on volume and whether there is a point that a smaller or larger print server is necessary.
Anyone use this type of print server? Any idea/suggestions of exactly the questions I should be asking? I'm a little lost!
Thanks in advance!

I am taking a total shot-in-the-dark here. I know nothing about Twinax. But perhaps these guys can help.
