Default Monitor Problem - LCD
I recently performed a Clean Install of Windows XP Professional on my IBM Thinkpad 600X (PIII, 320 MB, 30 GB HDD, NeoMagic Integrated Graphics Chip).
I'm usually very good and knowledgeable about how to set everything up, but I have an LCD problem that I can't figure out. I'm hoping for some help.
I noticed that the LCD seems dull and not as sharp as when I had Windows 2000. I know it's something to do with the monitor settings because the "Current Monitor" is listed as "Generic Television". I've attempted using different drivers such as the XP drivers, 2000 drivers, and nothing seems to make the actual LCD become the default setting. How can I fix this??? Thanks!!

Driver Terrier
Have you tried just changing the monitor by installing from a list or specific location then selecting don't search, I will choose the drivers to install Uncheck compatible hardware and choose IBM and one of the tft drivers?
