Jenreader USB Software
I installed the software for my Jenreader USB Card Reader (SmartMedia) about a year ago.
For some reason or other it recently decided to fail.
I uninstalled the software and attempted to reload it but it refuses to reload 'till I remove the original copy (which I have done using the Jenreader Uninstall.
I now assume that something has been left in the Registry.
Trying to contact Jenoptik has failed miserably.
Any ideas guys ?

Well the software updates are available, perhaps downloading and using those will allow it to install... failing that
Search the registry for Jen or Jeno - export the keys you find as a back up (just in case) and then delete them. Also take a look in c:\windows\inf for the inf file for the reader and look in system and system32 for any files that belong to jenoptics. If you find files, rename the extension so that if you have a problem booting afterwards you can easily rename them back again.
