    Dot Pitch

Hi, I am aware that dot pitch on monitors are for how clean the picture looks. So, I went looking for a .22 monitor and they have .22mm(H) .25mm (V) monitors. This may be a stupid question but wht is the dot pitch? I mean is a "true" .22, .22mm(H) .22mm (V)? Or are all "true" .22s .22mm(H) .25mm (V)?

    Any explanation....?

    Thanks for your time.

I was able to find this about Monitor dot pitch.

Basically, it says that the "regular" dot pitch is measured on an angle, as opposed to "horizontal" dot pitch, which is measured across the long dimension of the screen. It also explains that the pixels nowadays are square...the horizontal SHOULD be the same as the vertical.

Hope this helps you out somewhat.
