    Automatic Log In

My computer USED to go directly into Windows (XP Home). Yesterday it started going into the log in screen where I have to click the icon for the user. Thing is, there is only one user, and one icon. How do I get it to go in automaticly again?

In control panel, there is an applet for Users. In there you want to "change the way users log in" and turn off the switch users option. I can't remember the exact wording of the menus, but you will understand when you see things...

Although these instructions look like they will work, try mine first, takes alot less effort, and less chance to screw something up. I just did this for a friend with a new Laptop. Worked like a charm...
