    Where is the cmos battery in a Compaq Presario laptop model 1200?

    Before I start taking this thing all apart anyone know where the cmos battery is located? I believe it is a button battery. Thanks

    here is the service manual for your laptop

    as I remember it, it's under the modem on that model
