Need PHDisk for Compaq Presario 1692

Can anyone give me a hand with this?

I've looked all over the internet (Drive Guide, Compaq, etc) and am unable to get the proper version of PHDisk for Phoenix's Suspend to Hard Disk partition software.

I do not possess the original CDs that came with the unit. I bought it with a bad hdd for $50 and put a 20GB unit in.

It formats and operates just fine, except on cold boots I get a message that I need to run PHDisk to create a partition. My research shows that it's for the Phoenix BIOS's suspend to hard disk.

HELP!!!

Thanks in advance,

Kenny P.

Found it!!!

Noo noo,

I found it on a very obscure web site.

All I had to do is create and format my partition per normal, then run PHDISK /create /file - rebooted and the message went away!!!

Funny thing is, I didn't see that page on Google - I found it on search.yahoo.com. Weird!!!

Thanks $3.8 billion,

Kenny P.
