tiny laptop?
can anyone advise?
i'm considering buying a used laptop i've seen a tiny which fit my needs but has not got drivers on it.I intend to use it with win xp will getting the drivers cause problems and what about parts - are tinyspares available without going through tiny?
any comments would be helpful

Parts for any laptop are often specific (though many like drives aren't - just laptop specific rather than pc) ... if you can't see it going I'd be dubious regardless of 'tiny' or any other brand ... ... but we can 'do' drivers if as Noo says you tell us what model ....

the model is the a440
I wondered about spares as years ago had a packard bell desktop that I could not upgrade as parts were specific to that make -motherboard etc and wondered if it was like that wqith laptops? or are some a better bet than others for compatability?

128 mb ram is a bit tight for xp, but do able..
From the sounds of your post you expect to be able to upgrade a laptop in the same way you would a desktop? If so, sorry it doesn't work that way. Upgrades are confined to ram, longer life battery, add ins for the bays, larger hard drives and sometimes the video card....but only on expensive models.

I thot the Tiny company was kaput! No more. Gone. Folded. In the Never-Never. Passe'. History. Extinct. Deceased. etc
Why buy something with little or no support available?
