Welcome to WinDrivers diz71266!
You don't need drivers for CD drives!
Go into Hardware/Device Manager and remove your cds.
Then restart.
Barring hardware problems, they should reappear.
When and how do you get this error message?
What computer do you have: model name and number or motherboard model?
There may have been "corruption" or, maybe the cable has gone bad.
Could be a few things, but fixable nonetheless.
