Recovery of Data on CDRW
Hey Gang,
This is my problem. I had some information stored on a Rewritable CD. I was going to add some more information but Nero told me that I had too much information on it already. But instead of leaving the program and putting in a new CD I (or it) evidently tried to erase it. When I realized what I was doing, the erase process was in full swing. So I stopped it by restarting my computer.
Now the CDRW won't recognize the CD at all, but it does other CD I put in. Question:
Is there anyway I can recovery my lost data?
I have Win98SE, Also, PC Inspector File Recovery (free version) Clony XXV, Nero 5.5, Sony CRX-195E1 (40x12x48); Disk is Phillips High-Speed CDRW.
Thanks,
Orangeman

Here is a shareware data recovery program that works on cd's.
IsoBuster 1.4
http://www.50download.com/44033_download-IsoBuster.htm
Let me know if it works.

Stella Phoenix CD rom
Cd/Dvd diagnostic
(Both of these used to be freeware ... now they ain't , however the demo's will tell you if they'll work to get back what you want, try - & work from there )
As a matter of fact it isn't me who does all this 'stuff' to my computer. Ever since Halloween some crazed computer goblin with a personal grudge against the loveable Yours Truly comes in each night and does all this bad stuff to make me look stupid in front of you....
BTW, I found a program called BadCopy Pro. It recovered most of the data I needed. Its easy to use too.
Thanks,

BTW, its also better for external disks like floppies, CD's, and Zips than it is for HD's. But I have PC Inspector for that....
OMG, I think I hear that computer goblin knocking around again....
