    Question Removing XP Home and installing on new PC

    Hello all, I am looking to sell my PC and build myself a new one, what I want to know is, is there any way I can remove XP home from my current PC and put 98 back on then put my already activated copy of XP on the new machine? Microsoft are as usual providing no help whatsoever!
    I have official copies of XP and 98 and would like to save some cash by selling the PC with 98 and not having to buy another copy of XP.

    No, it is tied to that PC's hardware. Legally you cannot.
