    Netfinity 3000 IBM locked; intrusion

    Hi!
    A client brought me a Netfinity 3000 IBM server (black) that refused to boot and won't let me into the BIOS. Reason; it gives error 176 which is an intrusion lockout mechanism. How do I override the mechanism? I have tried removing the cmos battery for extended periods, shorting the cmos battery terminals, and removing the SCSI card but to no avail. Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

    It says here that the covers are removed. Suggest you put back the covers.
