    Sound Card question.

Hi, it's me again... I'm sure yer just totally enthralled to read my latest line of inane questioning....

Anyways... as it's recently been pointed out to me, Sound Blaster cards aren't as good as I've been lead to believe... I have Some SB Live cards and they work fine as they are, but I'm just wondering what card would you suggest replacing them with in the near future.

    Sure! Why, shouldn't I be?

Personally, I wouldn't replace them with anything. I have several of them also, and aside from warning anyone interested in them not to install all the extra junk that comes with them, I like them just fine. Good fidelity, reasonably reliable, etc.

But, OTOH, if a motherboard comes with built-in sound I won't disable it just to install a SB either.
