3com 905x-TX prob's
i have a problem when trying to run packet drivers for this onboard pain in the rear end, i keep getting the error message "no EISA or PCI devices found" how can this be? windows detects it perfectly fine it is enabled on the motherboard so why does it not get detected, i have heard that this packed driver had some problems but never realised that this was the effect.
please help ASAP
kind regards

its quite correct, if its an onboard 905 then there is NO pci or eisa device to look for. Tried the ndis drivers?

Noo, I thought that onboard LAN devices these days WERE PCI devices - they are enumerated as such...
At least all of my Dell equipment says so, whether 3Com or Broadcom...
