Sound Problem
Can anyone tell me why i don't have sound on my PC but can play CD's. I have Windows98SE with SoundMax on it. I can't even turn the volume up on it.I click on the volume and it won't pull up.

Have you tried upgrading the sound drivers?

We had a problem with sound cutting out because of a corrupted win.ini file on a couple of computers. They were all running ME though. Do you have a backed up win.ini you could restore? (I'd recommend backing up the current one first though.
