Lost space
I have been deleting some unused and unwanted files,but i seem to lost hard drive space instead of gaining more room on my hard drive?How can i correct
this ?

in addition to the above questions
Have you emptied the recycle bin after deleting the files, and have you defragged recently

Along with this I would also scandisk....
Incorrect hard drive space can also be reported by a errors in your hard drive 
Also, using a tool like Clonemaster or the Uninstaller can be dangeroous if you don't know what you're deleting. Don't trust the machine to make the decision for you. Know what you're deleting.

You need to remove all your old system restore files... that should free up a gig a two.
