Shutdown
Do all new MS operating systems fail to shutdown properly when they first come out? Seems to be a pattern.
Does anyone know of a bug? This is on a proliant 1850R. All drivers, firmware, and patches are up to date. The bitch is that it's managed remotely so being stuck at a shutdown screen is as good as being off.

I've never had a shutdown issue with 2k3, is your power management installed properly?

There's no ACIP support on this box. It's a PIII with dual 600s/RAID/etc. I left it sit for a good half hour and it did finally reboot. It might be quicker next time but I don't feel like watching it reboot again.
