Question Command Prompt Full Screen Resolution

    HI EVERYONE!!!
First of all I'd like you to excuse me about my poor english!!!

And now I ask you... Does someone know how to change the command prompt resolution in full screen mode? By default it seems to be in 720x400.

    Thanks a lot!!!

    Welcome to Windrivers Galidor!

    Start, run, cmd

Now right click on the top bar of the cmd box, properties, layout tab. You can adjust the width and height in there.

Then maximise and restore using the boxes on the top right for it to take effect.

    Unhappy I don't mean these...

Yes, it's ok, but I want to change the "full screen resolution", I mean, you run cmd.exe and then press ALT+ENTER, you'll get a command prompt in full screen mode. This mode is in 720x400 resolution and I want to change it to 1024x768.
I supose it will be possible changing one or more registry entries.

    Thanks a lot!!!

    Angry

I don't mean that! When you press ALT+ENTER I want to get a shell "command prompt" in 1024x768, without window. Not a maximized window. Just like MS-DOS shell.

    Tnaks!!!

Are you talking about changing the layout tab options?

What is it exactly you want to do? And be polite. Everyone here is trying to help...

    launch cmd prompt.

it opens in a window. right click the title bar choose properties. click the full screen radio button under display options click OK then check the radio button to "save properties for future windows with same title"

now launch cmd from the run menu and it's full screen.

Question Not font resolution. But it could be a solution.

I know ouw to get a full screen console. I have my monitor configured in 1024x768 when I'm in windows. But qhen I press ALT+ENTER in a command prompt window, this resolution changes to 720x400. I just want to mantain 1024x768 resolution on my monitor when I press ALT+ENTER. I don't want it to change to 720x400 because fonts grow.
Maybe to change fonts of full screen console could be a solution.

    THANKS!!!
