Centrino vs P4M Mobile P4

Any thoughts on the subject, i'm getting a Centrino 1.4, compared in benchmarkjs of PCMark 2002 it gets a 4500, compared to a Mobile P4 2.8 that gets 6800, still not bad, considering LG XNOTE, has a great VGA card ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 w/64mb dedicated vram, excellent design.

I;m looking for either a 1.5 centrino or a min Mobile 2.4 P4/512ram/dedicated vga/combo cdrw-dvdrom/40gb/15"

Centrino is about wireless and long battery life.

What question are you actually trying to ask?

The M and the P4M are different processors.

i cant decide betweeen a centrino 1.5 and a p4m 2.4, i'm looking for some newer benchmarks to compare the two.

The centrino, p4m and mobile p4 are 3 diff processors and i think the p4m is being phased out.

I am trying to decide between the HP zt3000/zx5000 and teh LG XNOTE,
the lg seems to be manufcatured by ibm or theres some collaboration going on -- www.lgibm.co.kr/, any input would be much appreciated

Look at the processor cache Techz, and why is benchmarking so important to you?

BTW my 1.6M spanks my 2.8 (no HT) on a straight number crunching race.
